Have fun making bookmarks from the patterns you can print out. Using carbon paper, transfer the designs to heavy paper. Cut out the shapes. Add finger dabs and other fancy strokes using slick paint.
Using the same "fingerprints" technique, you can make baby-feet gift wrap, or stationery and cards:
For the gift wrap, pour red, blue, and yellow paint (or any colors you choose) onto separate plastic plates. With your little finger curved, press the side of your hand into the paint. Press your hand on the paper to make a footprint. Make feet of one color wherever you wish, then add toes with your fingertip. To change colors, wash your hand, then repeat as above.
Turn plain cards and envelopes into happy greeting cards. Use slick paints to fingerpaint designs. Then use the same paints to write a greeting, draw lines, and make dots for highlights.
